What makes Haines Watts unique?
I’ve been a part of the Haines Watts team for 23 years and despite taking a brief hiatus, I’ve found the team dynamic here to be unmatched. The office vibe is refreshingly unique, especially for someone like me who originally joined from a more formal background. People genuinely collaborate seamlessly here, and there's no hierarchy that puts anyone above or below another. Everyone's voice matters, and that's been the heartbeat of this place since day one which made me want to join and has kept me here.
What is most important for your career?
For me having a strong sense of achievement is important to me. It's not about having all the answers, but rather the ability to collaborate, seek help, and work collectively towards a solution. Achievement, to me, comes in various shapes and sizes. That's why Haines Watts is such a perfect fit. Here, you're not confined to a singular trajectory. The range of opportunities to delve into diverse experiences and shoulder new responsibilities is there. You have the freedom to stretch your limits as far as you desire.
What is your biggest achievement?
For me having a career that continues to inspire and motivate me is my biggest achievement. Joining the accounting field was a pivotal decision, spurred by a conversation with someone whose passion for the subject was palpable. While this profession certainly presents its fair share of challenges, it's the daily interactions with clients and the collaborative efforts of my colleagues that infuse each day with inspiration and fulfilment. People, ultimately, are the driving force behind my achievements and the source of my continued inspiration.
