After graduating in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Stuart spent three years developing software for Shell. He then worked in New Zealand on web software solutions for six months and upon his return spent a year developing software for blue chip companies in Birmingham. In 2002 Stuart joined The Priory Partnership (now Haines Watts) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006. He was appointed as director in 2009.

Stuart specialises in owner managed businesses, accounts, tax, accounts software packages and Excel.
Vikki works with a wide range of individuals and owner managed businesses in many sectors operating throughout the UK. Her aim is to understand a business and identify the personal goals of business owners to advise them in ways they understand. She will not only ensure they meet their statutory requirements but in addition, confirm they are paying the right amount of tax, assist to grow and improve the value of their business and personal wealth.
My job is so different day to day, I’m always learning and never bored. I get to work with creative, passionate business owners and contribute to their success.
If I wasn't doing this: Visiting new and exciting places, reading lots of books & eating out with a nice glass of red wine.

Since qualifying with PwC 30 years ago, and joining Haines Watts as a partner 25 years ago, Frank has spent his time in general practice with responsibility for supporting and advising a diverse portfolio of prestigious clients including OMB’s, professional partnerships and large charitable and not-for-profit organisations.
Frank acts as non-executive FD for a number of clients and is a Governor and Chair of Finance at an academy high school.
Providing both proactive and pragmatic advice to business owners, identifying opportunities to give them competitive advantage to strengthen and develop their business, eg through taxation, staff recruitment and retention, or business growth planning etc. Working “with” as well as “for” clients, adopting the objective of exceeding client expectations wherever possible !
If I wasn't doing this: Getting on with the list of jobs the wife has for me or walking in the local woods and sand dunes with the dog !

Mike has over 30 years’ experience of working within the industry in a variety of national, regional and independent practices, having first qualified with KPMG. He became a Haines Watts Director in 2011. Mike aims to provide a pro-active, “hands-on” approach. He has the breadth of experience to advise clients on all aspects of business, taxation and regulatory matters in a wide range of sectors.
No two days are ever the same. I gain satisfaction from assisting clients through some tough times. Making a difference by working through problems to find solutions. Clients become friends, and ultimately it is very rewarding. The social side is enjoyable too.
If I wasn't doing this: Hopefully would be in a career that would be just as rewarding.

Dave qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and has specialised in taxation ever since then. Having worked mainly in the owner managed business sector, he specialises in tax planning for owner-managed businesses and HNWI’s, including remuneration planning, R&D Tax Credits, CGT, IHT, succession planning and corporate restructuring, and business acquisitions and disposals. In addition to tax planning and advisory work, he also deals with a wide variety of Tax Investigations, including specialist investigations and Code of Practice 9 cases.

Andrew qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 with Henry R Davis & Co and became a partner in 1995. After the amalgamation with The Priory Partnership now Haines Watts) in 2002, in which he became a partner.
He acts for a wide range of clients and specialises in providing accountancy and tax planning services.
If I wasn't doing this: On a tennis or squash court, I play both sports for local teams.
Steve has worked in taxation for over thirty five years. He joined the HM Revenue & Customs when he was nineteen on a self-employed section. Steve qualified and became a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians in 1999. He deals with all aspects of direct taxation compliance, HMRC enquiries and investigations, he also advises clients on tax mitigation.
Crossing swords with HMRC when dealing with tax enquiries. I enjoy the cut and thrust of trying to mitigate a client’s tax position when taking an opposing view from that of a HMRC Officer.
If I wasn't doing this: Hillwalking in The Lakes and travelling to places further afield.

Jacqui joined Stubbs Parkin Cotter, one of the original four firms that merged to become The Priory Partnership (now Haines Watts) in 1985. She has worked in the tax department for over ten years and is a fully qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians. In her promotion to Tax Manager, Jacqui has responsibility for direct taxation compliance and advises clients on tax mitigation.
I enjoy the various of duties within my role particularly interacting with clients. It is enjoyable to work with such a great Team in the Office.
If I wasn't doing this: I enjoy spending most weekends with my grandaughters and love family time. I enjoy travelling and visiting new places as much as possibly can.
Favourite sports/personOr book: I enjoyed the Game of Thrones books but just wish RR Martin had finished the story!
Dream Location: I visit a little place in Turkey called Adrasan which is so peaceful and relaxing.
Rachel has been working in tax for the last 10 years having gained experience within a mixture of top 10 and specialised tax advisory firms.
She qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2016 and provides general tax advice for owner managed businesses and individuals. She specialises in residency and domicile issues, succession planning and corporate restructures and IHT planning.
I enjoy the variety my role brings and helping clients achieve their objectives in a tax efficient manner.

After leaving grammar school in 1972, Ian joined Henry R Davis & Co as an articled clerk. He part qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was one of the first members of the Association of Accounting Technicians when it was formed in 1980. Ian is experienced in all aspects of small and medium business accounts and taxation, especially with regards to the agricultural community.
Interaction with clients, who hopefully appreciate my involvement with their business !
If I wasn't doing this: I have been a keen motorcyclist since 2006 when I acquired my first Harley Davidson. Since then I have completed nearly 80.000 miles, including two US trips (California, parts of Route 66 etc, New Orleans,Wisconsin) and European trips as far south as the Italian Lakes. Recently, I have bought some Nikon camera equipment with a hope of taking some fantastic pictures on my bike riding holidays.

Julie joined Avison & Harrocks, one of the original four firms that merged to become The Priory Partnership, in 1987. She has worked at The Priory ( now Haines Watts) since the partnership formed in 1996, working full-time in our reception. She enjoys the variety of tasks her job entails and especially enjoys that initial contact with the clients. Julie's daughter, Alex, also works at The Priory, based in our Payroll department.
I enjoy the variety of tasks my job entails and especially the initial contact with the clients, many of whom I have known for over 30 years. I enjoy keeping busy, which Reception certainly is, particularly late in the year and I strive to ensure the work leaving Reception is accurate and neat and the clients receive well presented documents.
If I wasn't doing this: spending time with my family and beautiful grandchildren, when time allows I enjoy the countryside, bird watching in particular, gardening and swimming.

Allie has recently joined the Haines Watts Wirral Team in November 2018, as Office Manager. Having previously worked in the freight forwarding industry, Allie has brought along her experience in customer service and credit control as well as a thorough and organized approach to her work. She is very excited for this new chapter and looks forward to her future in the Haines Watts team.
I very much enjoy the variety of work my role involves, it keeps things interesting! I also really enjoy working alongside my colleagues and support we provide for each other.
If I wasnt doing this: I love going out for meals as often as possible with my husband Ian – as well as a night in with a bottle of red! I love travelling and taking in different cultures, going on holidays here, there and everywhere.
