Case study - can Xero manage my stock/inventory systems?

Background

As a Xero Platinum partner we are often asked by our clients about Xero Apps.

We recently referred one of our clients, Selectequip, to business software consultants Bluehub. Selectequip were using their decision to move from SAGE 200 to Xero as an opportunity to review their wider business systems and processes, not just their accounting software.

 

Outcome

Together with Selectequip and Bluehub we worked to assess the critical needs and requirements. Most important was the need for an integrated stock system from a business and accounting perspective. The new system required detailed reporting features, traceability and multi-warehouse management. Bluehub recommended cloud-based Cin7 and improvements to the business were immediately apparent.

Zena, general manager of the company, states:

"we've reduced paperwork significantly and orders can be dispatched in a few hours rather than days. Everyone is looking at the same system, everyone is linked. Even the sales guys out on the road can see exactly what we can see here"

So it's not always a case of what we know, but who we know!
