This Christmas, Haines Watts launched a national campaign to collect food donations and raise money for foodbanks across the country. Staff and clients of the Hereford office responded with great generosity, donating four boxes of food and other supplies as well as making generous donations to the online appeal.
UK foodbank use continues to rise with over one million three-day emergency food supplies given to people in crisis in 2016/17. The Hereford Foodbank is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers and one part-time officer. They do an amazing job supporting individuals and families who are struggling, with Christmas being a particularly difficult time for many. Almost all the food supplied is donated by local people - both individuals and businesses – and we are proud to support them.
It was a pleasure to meet some of the hardworking volunteers when we delivered our donations to the Foodbank. To support their efforts further, volunteers from Haines Watts Hereford helped the Foodbank with a food collection at Morrisons in Hereford on 14th December. Thanks to all the lovely people we met there who showed such generosity and Christmas spirit in donating to this excellent cause. Click here to see some photographs from our foodbank campaign.

A huge thanks to our staff, clients and the people of Hereford for their generosity. Merry Christmas to all.
