Matt’s career has focused on the Bristol business community for the last 20 years. After working for a large local practice and a ‘top 10’ firm, Matt joined Haines Watts to utilise his skills in advising SME’s in all aspects of business, accounting and tax. Matt has specialist knowledge in a number of business sectors, including professional practices in relation to which he used to sit on the ICAEW’s Solicitors’ Group Committee.
Matt has overall responsibility for the Bristol and Portishead offices of Haines Watts.
Geoff has worked in Bristol for many years and has extensive experience in advising both owner managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Geoff is also authorized to deal with probate and estates. He specializes in delivering excellent service to his clients and is proactive in seeking ways to provide help and advice.
Geoff’s role is to help maintain the quality of service delivered by the Bristol office and build relationships in the Bristol business community.
Having qualified in 1988, Ian has been a Director of Haines Watts Partnership Bristol since 1999, having previously been a Partner in another Bristol firm of Chartered Accountants.
He has a wealth of experience in advising owner managed businesses in all financial and business matters including Corporate Finance. He sits on a number of Clients Board of Directors as Non-Executive Finance Director and works closely with his clients recognising that each individual client’s circumstances and requirements are unique.
Having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant, Paul has many years of experience dealing with SME’s and other small businesses and individuals. He is passionate about helping SME’s with all financial matters from the UK tax system, compliance with the Companies Act and other matters that businesses face in their day to day life. He tries to take the jargon out it and explain it simply, so that the owners can concentrate on their business.
Paul is a keen golfer and enjoys time with his young family.
Tim joined Haines Watts in 2018 following the merger with Goldwyns. Since qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2000, he has worked in all areas of the SME sector and uses his experience and knowledge to provide his clients with both commercial and practical advice.
Tim is focused on providing advice to his clients to help them achieve their business goals, which naturally results in the forging of longstanding business relationships.
Tim is a keen golfer and runs the junior section at his home golf club.
