I’ve just returned from the Geneva Group International (GGi) World Conference in Argentina and am honoured to have been there to collect an award on behalf of Haines Watts who have been named as one of GGI’s 2018 Member Firms of the Year.
Haines Watts is proud to be part of GGi, which is one of the leading global alliances of independent professional firms, with a international network consisting of over 580 accounting, law, and consulting firm members from 124 countries.
The GGi Member Firm of the Year award has been created to recognise GGi member firms that are prominent in particular areas of proficiency and excellence within the GGi community. The awards reflect the innovation, achievement, strategy, progressive and inspirational changes taking place within the industry.
What makes this award even more special for me is that fellow members nominate other firms for the award, so to be nominated by our peers and a group of such outstanding professionals within GGi makes this award stand out from many others.
We joined GGi in 2011 because of the quality of its members and breadth of its worldwide coverage. Being part of GGi has given us the ability to offer our UK clients high quality, professional advice across the globe. We have been fortunate to work with a large number of the other members across the world in the past 7 years both delivering services to their clients and them delivering outstanding advice to our clients.
Our Haines Watts Partners are extremely committed to GGI with a number of them holding key positions within GGi, including Paul Simmons, who is on the Executive Committee and is Global Chairperson for Real Estate, Steve McCrindle, Global Chairperson for Indirect Taxes, and Andrew Jones, Global Vice Chair for Audit & Accounting.
We are proud to have Haines Watts and our contribution to GGi recognised by our peers and look forward to continuing to provide outstanding professional advice across the globe with other GGi member firms in the future.
