Haines Watts has continued to invest in its northern team, with 35 new appointments in the last 12 months, as the accountancy firm looks to respond to the growing needs of its business owner client base in the aftermath of the pandemic.

The 35 new team members are based across the 7 Northern offices, spanning across Manchester, the Humber region, Yorkshire and the North East.

The firm continues to be a pillar of support for regional business owners, helping them to navigate their way through the broad range of challenges that have risen over the course of the past year.

Speaking on the last 12 months, Regional Managing Partner in the North East and Yorkshire, Donna Bulmer said: “Finances have never been more at the forefront of business owners’ minds, as they have navigated their way through the business challenges of the last 12 months.

“As the world starts to reopen, we’re seeing more optimism for the months ahead, and our investment in people means we’re prepared to support our clients as their needs evolve and they continue to adapt.”

David Fort, Managing Director in Manchester added: “We’ve seen business owners completely transform the way they work in the last year. This said, we’re still very much in the midst of the pandemic and owner managers are still facing challenges ahead.”

“By bringing new people on board, we’re more than ready to help support business owners through the recovery phase and beyond.”
