We are celebrating some amazing news this month - we have been shortlisted for four awards at the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards 2020!

The Yorkshire Accountancy Awards celebrate the achievements and successes of the best and brightest in the industry across Yorkshire, so it is a huge honour to have been shortlisted.

We have been nominated for the Best Employer award, recognising our investment in people, our ongoing commitment to the community and our dedication to clients.

Our managing partner, James Sutton is a finalist in the Managing Partner of the Year category, and said: "We are delighted to have been nominated for 4 different awards at the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards. Credit should go to our amazing team and their continuous hard work. We are really looking forward to the virtual event in December!”"

Audit Manager, Amy Cashmore has been nominated for Yorkshire Accountant of the Year. Speaking about her nomination she said: "It was so lovely to find out that I have been nominated for the Yorkshire Accountant of the year award. It is nice to have hard work recognised and it made me feel really valued by Haines Watts."

George Murphy has also been shortlisted for Trainee of the Year for his hard work and his continuously positive and approachable attitude.
