Julie is our Office Manager and has been with Haines Watts since June 2019. She has a PA/Secretarial background with over 30 years experience gained from within the railway industry before joining Haines Watts. She now enjoys the varied role that being Office Manager brings; key roles being front of house reception, meeting and greeting visitors and all office administration duties.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting and greeting clients and building relationships both internally and externally.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Off walking in the Derbyshire Dales or out socialising with friends!
Favourite Film: I'm a fan of the Romcom my favourite being Bridget Jones Diary; however I also love a good action movie and looking forward to the new Top Gun film being released this summer!
Favourite Food/Restaurant: I love Italian food; I have many favourite restaurants, however Carluccio's is my favourite Italian.
Dream Location: Australia (Sydney & Whitsunday Islands) - again!
Beccy joined Haines Watts in 2012. She is AAT qualified and has 15 years of accounts experience. Her role includes preparation and completion of limited company accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts.
What do you enjoy most about your job? I like chatting to clients and building relationships. I also like feeling useful so I love it when I can help a client. Last of all, I love a bit of problem solving, give me a messy SAGE job to tidy up and I am happy!
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Somewhere hot, by the sea with my son and partner.
Dream Location: New York, but only in the summertime when the weather is hot!
Sajida is a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance graduate and also ATT qualified. She has been working in general practice in the field of Tax since 1998. She joined Haines Watts as Tax Senior in October 2019 and her role involves preparing Tax Returns and P11D's.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Working with large a variety of clients and assisting them to minimise their tax liabilities.
Favourite Sport: Swimming
Dream Location: Niagara Falls (Canada) or Dubai
Katherine joined Haines Watts as an Accounts Senior, and has experience of working with a variety of clients on both accounts and audit engagements, including charities, academies and solicitors.
What do you enjoy most about your job: Problem solving, and building rewarding, long-term relationships with clients.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Spending time with family and friends.

Elena is an ACCA qualified accountant; whose role involves completing the statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Sam is a Student Chartered Accountant, his role in audit involves statutory and non statutory audit for sole traders, partnerships, Limited Liability Partnerships and Limited companies.
What do you enjoy most about your job? My audit role enables me to gain a full perspective and view of the company's financial position, identifying areas to add value to varying business industries and sizes.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: On the Golf course or the beach!

Dream Location: Coron, Palawan
Favourite Food: I'm very partial to Asian cuisine and have quite a few favourite dishes, it's hard to pick out one favourite.
Moosa is an Audit Trainee in our Derby Audit Team. One of Moosa's proudest personal achievements is to have cycled 420 miles across The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Denmark in June 2023 for charity. As a group of 40 cyclists raising almost £500,000 in the process!
What do you enjoy most about your job? My audit team for sure!
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: At Pastry School.
Favourite Book/Author: The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
Dream Location: Tromso, Norway
Hamza is an experienced payroll professional, qualified to AAT Level 3. He has worked in a variety of accountancy roles and has a good general knowledge of the profession a whole.
Hamza's role is to assist and support our clients with the end to end processing of their payrolls and is on hand to deal with any queries they may have on a day to day basis.
What do you enjoy most about your job? I love working in payroll because every day brings a new challenge. It's not just 'pressing the button' once a month - it's about giving support to employees, providing business insights with data analysis, it's finding new ways to work and making it the finest services possible.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Travelling the world.

Eloise has over 5 years' experience working in payroll alongside running her own business as a personal trainer. She deals with the end to end processing of payrolls, keeping an attentive eye whilst working to ensure deadlines are met. Eloise's knowledge of legislation means that she can confidently support and assist clients with their queries.
What do you enjoy most about your job? I'm very much a people person so I enjoy that I get to build relationships with clients, as well as with my colleagues.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: A Paramedic

Diane works part time, acting as a credit controller for the business. She is responsible for preparing and submitting any Statutory documentation for companies and also assists with any administration as required.
What do you enjoy most about your job? Speaking to our clients and building a relationship with them all, even if I am chasing them for money! Being in the office with colleagues.
If I wasn't doing this I'd be: Out running, walking or golfing!

Olivia has over several years experience working as a HR Generalist within various different industries. She supports the East and East Midland's offices with their day to day HR activities across the employee lifecycle!

Rachel looks after the East and East Midlands offices with their day to day HR and recruitment. She has previous HR experience in the education industry and currently serves in the army reserves, as a HR Specialist in her spare time.

If I wasn't doing this I'd be: I would open up and run my own gym.
