Haines Watts Leeds Football Forecaster - Winner for 2011⁄12

Basil King of Flexiform Ltd was the winner of the inaugural Football Forecaster competition run by Haines Watts Leeds Office.

Basil is pictured being presented with the trophy and prize by Audit Senior Matthew Barton, who devised and ran the competition.

Entrants selected 3 teams from each division for the 2011⁄12 season with scores being the number of league points earned by the chosen teams (after any points deductions).

The winner was the competitor with the highest score over the season, with a prize each month for the entrant whose team had been the most successful in that month.

Managing Partner Peter Bancroft said “the competition was simple to enter, well received and provided some light relief in this tough economic climate”.

The trophy was kindly supplied by Pendle Sports Ltd.
