Technology Tips
![]() Remote working It is possible for almost any Microsoft based computer to be used remotely from your home, other office, or occasionally even from your mobile phone. There are various technologies built into the Microsoft systems that allow remote working, the most common method being RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol). This is straightforward to set up and use, and is free. If you require a more flexible set up, then another technology called Terminal Services may be useful, although this does require licenses to use it. For further information contact HW Technology. Reminder! A reminder that businesses have until 31 March 2009 to submit claims to HMRC for overpaid or under claimed VAT during the periods 1973 to 1996/97 using any fair and reasonable method to support any such claim.
