Thousands of people lined the streets of Hereford today as the Olympic torch passed through the city and other parts of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The Haines Watts Hereford staff were out in force to greet the torch bearer as she passed by our offices on St Nicholas Street, Hereford. (see picture opposite).

People cheered as the Olympic torch convoy passed by and well wishers young and old stood in the beautiful sunshine to see the torch complete it’s route through Hereford’s city centre.

The torch returns to Herefordshire tomorrow when it passes through Ross-on-Wye on it’s way to Cardiff.  It’s been great to see the Hereford community in such good spirits and proud to be British.

Do you think the olympics is a great event for Britain?
