Mike qualified in 1990 with a medium sized firm in Bristol.

His accounting career has been based around the provision of quality service and advice to private limited companies, UK subsidiaries, partnerships and sole traders covering the full general practice spectrum.

His role is to maintain and extend the relationship with the client and recognise planning opportunities and the need for specialist advice as and when required.

Susan has been in accounting practice for 20 years and during that time has gained a wide range of experience in different business sectors and in accountancy, audit and business advisory services.

She began her career with a "Big 4" in Swindon in 1989. Her close involvement with companies has ranged from local businesses to international manufacturing and distribution businesses and covered accounts, audit and business tax.

Susan joined Haines Watts in September 2002 and became a Partner in May 2007 and has built up a portfolio of Charity and not for profit and as well and corporate clients.

Martin has been in practice for over 20 years, almost all of which has been spent working in 2 of the country’s top 20 accountancy practices.

He has also spent time working in tax in industry for a subsidiary of GEC plc. He joined HW as a Partner in 2004 and oversees all taxation planning and compliance matters.

A significant proportion of Martin’s time is spent with clients looking at tax planning opportunities across the full spectrum of UK taxes.
