Sue has lived in the Skegness area all her life and attended the Skegness Grammar School. Prior to working in an accountancy practice Sue worked for a large local grain merchant. She joined Walker Smyth and Marshall in 1990 and achieved her ACCA qualification in 1995. Sue became a partner in 2003 and Managing Partner when the firm joined Haines Watts in April 2007.
Sue has developed close working relationships with her varied portfolio of owner managed businesses, and Limited Companies providing help and assistance on all business, accounting and taxation issues.

Simon has lived in the Lincolnshire area all his life. He attended a local grammar school and went into accountancy practice on leaving.
He comes from an agricultural background and therefore has detailed knowledge of farming and related industries. Other specialist work includes caravan sites and the leisure industry.
In his spare time Simon is an active member of the Skegness Round Table and enjoys golf and clay pigeon shooting.

Terry has more than 30 years experience as a VAT specialist and has been with Haines Watts since 1989, prior to which he spent 14 years as a Senior VAT Officer for HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). He has particular expertise in negotiating with HMRC on the practical application of VAT regulations and interpretations, including property transactions, partial exemption, international issues and VAT special schemes. Terry has also recently successfully negotiated significant refunds for a number of major UK catering operators.
