All app-ening on Android

IN today’s busiest of business worlds, keeping up to speed on tax rates just got a whole lot easier, thanks to leading local accountants Haines Watts.









In April 2011, Haines Watts, who have offices in Leyland, launched the first UK Tax Rates app for the iPhone. Since then, the app has gone from strength to strength with over 5000 downloads.









The app has won praise from various sources for its simple, yet effective, way of giving Financial Directors and business owners the tax information they need at their fingertips. Due to its popularity on iPhone, Haines Watts have announced the app is now also available on the Android platform.









Michelle Foster, Senior Tax Manager, based at Towngate, Leyland, explained: “It’s a logical progression as we seek to bring this information to a wider audience. The app provides instant reference ‘on the move.’









“You can check income tax rates, tax relief, VAT thresholds, personal allowances, Corporation, Capital Gains, Inheritance tax and lots more. It’s really handy and easy to work with. HW are the first accountants to provide this resource, I’m delighted that we are leading the field with it.”
