Charity 

Each year the Manchester office elects a charity to fundraise for. This year we have selected the Children's Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), set up in 1985 by a small group of volunteers the Charity, based around a beautiful 17th century farmhouse, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, offers free adventure breaks and activities to children who are disadvantaged by illness, disability and poverty, from all over the Northwest.

The office looks to do regular activities to help raise money for CAFT, including a monthly dress down day, quiz nights, etc. If you would like to know more about the trust please visit their website.

Manchester CSR policy

As part of Haines Watts we follow the national CSR policy, but are always looking for ways to help the environment, local community and workplace for our staff.

We are always looking for ways to recycle and reduce paper, we recycle as much of our necessary paper waste as we can, using an environmentally resposible document destruction company. We have a recycling area for non work related waste such as newspapers and magazines, which is organised my members of staff.

All of our I.T. consumables are recycled.

We try where possible to use technology to conduct training, internal meetings and information sharing. Using a combination of conference calls, webinars, online presentations and remote access to conduct the meetings we will look to continue and increase the use of this technology.
