Number 10 petition

Here at Haines Watts we are always thinking about and listening to our clients, especially during this difficult time, we need the Government to help. Therefore, we have set up an online petition on the Number 10 website, the petition aims to give SMEs a voice and encourage the Government to sit up and listen to their needs, especially in the current economic climate.

We want Ten Downing Street to review the policies it creates to ensure they are helping businesses grow rather than disincentivising them such as the recent budget did in relation to tax rates.  

We hope that the petition will encourage the Government to simplify the tax system, give businesses greater access to funds and trade credit, give the companies ability to opt out of new regulations and to incentivise them to invest in business.
