Fraser Kerr - Senior Partner

Fraser is the managing partner of the Kirkcaldy office. He has been instrumental in the growth of the Scottish Haines Watts business through both organically and serial mergers, expanding the Edinburgh office presence into Fife and creating some of the best specialist departments in Scotland.
Fraser's depth of experience comes from over 30 years working with a wide spectrum of business sectors from manufacturing, property to professional firms. He prides himself on spotting opportunities to take businesses to a new level of growth and profit by looking beyond the numbers. By providing financial and strategic advice on the business lifecycle, Fraser has helped create a few millionaires along the way.
After 10 years honing his skills with several practices, Fraser launched his own firm Fraser Kerr & Co in 1988. Having managed and grown his own business for over 20 years, he can appreciate the pressures and stresses of modern business both professionally and personally. It is Fraser's forward-thinking approach to positioning business that has ensured his own success as well as his clients.
Fraser's strengths lie in Strategic Planning, Profit Improvement, Tax Planning, Raising Finance, Business Acquisitions and Disposals.
Fraser also acts as a non executive director of several companies in and around the East of Scotland.
Fraser is a keen follower of football and still manages to kick a ball around a six aside court on a regular basis.
Jean Campbell - Consultant
Jean qualified with a medium sized Edinburgh practice before moving on to further her career with spells at two of the then ‘Big 8’ global accountancy firms. She joined Fraser in 1988 and was instrumental in growing his practice. Jean’s areas of expertise lie in the fields of charities and housing associations as well as a broad range of general practice clients. She is also very experienced with SAGE installations and training.
Neil Wilkinson - Business Services Manager

With over 25 years accounting experience working with everyone from sole traders to multi-million turnover businesses, Neil appreciates that whatever the sector or size of the business there tends to be similar needs and challenges. Neil’s aim is to maximise clients’ wealth by helping them with workable strategies for business growth and minimising the taxable amount payable. Having previously worked for both large and small accounting practices in Edinburgh and Fife, Neil has transferred his expertise in working on accounts, audit, tax compliance and tax planning to Haines Watts.
Alex Cushnie - Business Services Manager

Alex is a general practitioner with 30 years experience specialising in catering for the needs of small owner-managed businesses across a wide range of trades and professions. Alex adopts a hands on approach assisting clients with business planning, compliance matters, tax efficient remuneration and profit extraction. Providing tailored advice to clients’ specific needs, Alex is motivated to ensuring business owners realise their own goals. Before joining Norman Berry & Co in 1999, Alex worked with a number of other practices.
