Charity Matters at Haines Watts Ipswich
by Trevor Mcleese on 2 February 2012
We are delighted to announce that the Haines Watts Ipswich branch have nominated Muscular Dystrophy as their charity for this year. This is a cause very close to our hearts as I have Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. I can work and carry on with my daily life with the support of family, friends and colleagues and I am very excited that this year we can raise awareness and money for this worthwhile charity.
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign have lots planned for the year ahead including their ‘Make Today Count’ fund raising event. As 2012 is a leap year they want us to all take a leap of faith and make that extra day count with something different. Their suggestion is a parachute jump but we’re not sure here at Ipswich we’re up to that! However we will be doing some charity events in the coming year so please keep an eye on our blog for further updates.
To find out more or if you are feeling brave and want to have a go at the parachute jump then please click here to view the MD website.
Whatever your personal circumstances if you are running a business you will, at some point, need the support and professional advice of a chartered accountant. Haines Watts Ipswich can help you all the way with guidance and suggestions for the year ahead.

At our HQ we didn't all have the bottle for sky diving either, so we came up with the raffle a days annual leave idea so that eveyone can make today count.
Here's how it works
Thanks again
