Colin joined Haines Watts soon after qualifying as a chartered accountant and has been the senior partner in the High Wycombe office for over 25 years. He has a vast amount of experience in dealing with client affairs.
The High Wycombe practice has successfully evolved under his guidance and provides advice individually tailored to the circumstances of each client, many of whom have been with Colin and the firm for many years.

Gary joined Haines Watts as a partner in High Wycombe in 2004 from the 'Big 4'. He enjoys advising both corporates and owner managers on growing the business, corporate strategy, financing and audit and accounts. He also acts for many UK subsidiaries of foreign owned entities.
Gary has been working in the professional services environment for over twenty years. His experience includes several secondments into industry, giving him an insight into how business works from the client perspective.
Gary is married with two boys and lives in St Albans. He keeps fit at the local gym and he is a keen supporter of Manchester United.

Tony has been with Haines Watts for over 20 years, and is the audit partner for the High Wycombe practice. He has a great deal of experience in audit and compliance matters and acts for a wide variety of businesses.

David joined HW in September 2008 with over 10 years corporate finance experience, having been exposed to a highly diverse range of roles, clients and funding scenarios. Having qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998, David joined their corporate finance department where he advised on a number of transactions encompassing acquisitions, disposals, and buyouts across the Thames Valley and London.In 2002 David joined Bank of Scotland, working initially in their leveraged finance division and then latterly within their Integrated Finance team, investing both debt and equity to mid market buy outs, typically in the £10m to £150m range.

Charles heads up the South-East corporate finance team. Prior to joining HW Corporate Finance, he was the director in charge of Deloitte's South Coast corporate finance practice.
Over the last 15 years Charles has completed a wide range of disposals, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins. He has led owner managers, local authorities and corporates through the initial marketing, negotiations, agreement of terms and completion.
Charles has worked on in excess of 70 deals with values falling at all points; from smaller deals worth £1 million up to £550 million. With a broad range of experience, Charles provides leadership in the following sectors:
Retail, Consumer business, Leisure, Specialist manufacturing, Waste and environmental Construction and Information technology.
Charles is married with three children, and his interests outside work include skiing and sailing, at which he has represented the UK in several World and European championships.

Gareth joined Haines Watts as a Tax Partner in July 2009 after many years as a Tax Partner with Baker Tilly. Gareth has for over 25 years dealt with the complex affairs of numerous clients and specialises in advising owner managed businesses, partnerships, trusts and wealthy individuals. Gareth is married and supports two teams in red, Manchester United and the Welsh Rugby Team. The latter has been known to cause lengthy periods of deep depression and much more temporarily high elation.

Malcolm joined HW Financial Services Limited in 2004. He has worked in the financial services industry for over thirteen years and has experience in dealing with both private clients and SME businesses. Malcolm holds both the Financial Planning Certificate and the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate and is an authorised specialist in Pension planning for both corporate entities and individuals. Malcolm also offers a much wider range of advice which covers the full spectrum of investment, protection and estate planning solutions.Malcolm places emphasis on the importance of building long-term professional relationships with clients keeping them informed every step of the way.Away from the office Malcolm is a keen Leeds United fan and plays five-a-side football to keep trim.

Jeff joined Haines Watts in March 2005. Previously he spent over three years with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in Woking where he was a visiting officer. Subsequently he also spent time in HMRC busy written enquiries section, dealing with a wide range of businesses. In addition, Jeff has over five years private sector experience, notably at KPMG and Smith & Williamson. This experience includes giving advice on business sectors such as land and property, finance, and international trade.Jeff comments on the wisdom of including a VAT review in the Haines Watts' audit process, as this is the first step in ensuring that businesses are compliant and in spotting opportunities for VAT savings.Jeff's leisure interests include cinema, motoring and badminton and he is a relative expert in pub music quizzes!
