Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1972 and then went to work for Deloittes in their Paris office. After three years in the profession he moved into industry as Financial Director of the European Arm of a Major US Medical company. He moved back to the UK in 1984 to start his own accountancy practice and joined with Haines Watts in 2002. Paul is really motivated by assisting the owners of small to medium businesses realsie their own goals and to strengthen this undertook a two year course at the University of East Anglia where he obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 1997. He is also a member of the Institute of Management Consultants.

Stephen graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2001 with an Honours degree in Business Economics.
He joined Haines Watts the same year. In 2004 he qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and achieved FCCA status in 2009. He helped found the Norwich office as partner in 2008.
Stephen is dedicated to helping owner managed businesses run as efficiently as possible, and ensuring HW offers a first class, personal service. He is passionate about technology and oversees the IT in the region, ensuring HW is always using the best systems available to deliver efficiency and quality.
Stephen enjoys cycling and visits the gym regularly, but his love is snowboarding.

Sam joined HW in 2010 as administrator and receptionist and works both in the Great Yarmouth and Diss office to ensure the recording and organising of data runs smoothly, liaising with clients and managing diaries.
Sam is also responsible for keeping all the client statutory records up to date and liaising with both Companies House and HMRC.
