Richard is the Managing Director, he joined the firm in 2004. His portfolio includes clients from both private and public sector and has significant experience within a wide variety of sectors including charities, registered social landlords, local government and variousother not-for-profit organisations and is responsible for high value group audits.
As well as audit and advisory work Richard is involved in corporate finance, including start-ups, acquisitions and disposals, fundraising for organic growth and management buy-outs.

Marc joined Haines Watts Glasgow in September 2011 as a Tax Associate and became a Director in 2012. He specialises in advising privately owned businesses and their shareholders on their UK and international tax affairs.
Prior to joining he spent 10 years working in the tax teams of Big 4 firms and brings with him a wealth of experience in advising on all aspects of corporate and personal taxation including business restructuring, property tax planning and income tax planning.

Annette joined Haines Watts as Director of Business Recovery in March 2012.
As an experienced insolvency practitioner she brings with her a wealth of accumulated knowledge, providing a full range of insolvency and business recovery services, including advice to Directors and Entrepreneurs managing businesses in difficultly.
She commenced her business recovery and insolvency training with a big 4 firm, and subsequently worked with a mid tier national and an independent firm of chartered accountants. She qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2001 and has specialised in business recovery for over 20 years.
Annette takes formal appointments in all corporate insolvency procedures, including liquidation, administration and receivership. She also provides advice to directors whose companies are experiencing difficulties, including advice to directors on their responsibilities during this period.
Annette also takes personal insolvency appointments, providing solutions to both individuals and businesses encountering debt problems.

David qualified as a CA then worked overseas with PKF in Sydney, Australia before joining Haines Watts on his return to the UK.
After a short spell within the business services department David specialised in forensic accounting and set up HW Forensic Accountants in Scotland.
David is currently a director with HW Forensic Accountants where he is involved in a wide range of forensic accounting matters, civil, commercial and criminal investigations and expert witness work including giving evidence in Court.
David's specialisms include:

- Commercial litigation and quantification of loss

Ian is an experienced Chartered Accountant who joined Haines Watts Corporate Finance in 2011.
Ian’s previous positions included many years within the Big 4 and has over 20 years corporate finance Partner, and 10 years with a UK-based group with subsidiaries in the US, Mexico, China and Poland.
He has significant experience in the UK and Internationally including acquisitions and disposals, management buy outs, finance raising, due diligence and valuations. He also provides Strategic advice to a number of clients.

Mark joined Haines Watts in June 2012 as a business services director. Having spent much of his career with a ‘Big 4’ firm in Scotland and London, Mark has spent the last six years as a partner advising SME businesses in Glasgow across a range of sectors including manufacturing, technology, healthcare, property, charities and retail.
He has led a number of advisory projects and investigations for clients including profitability reviews, systems and process improvement, due diligence, group reconstructions, staff training and the provision of accounting and tax advice.
