Haines Watts staff run for Muscular Dystrophy
by eastanglia on 26 April 2012
Haines Watts East Anglia is pleased to announce it is supporting The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign as its Charity of the Year. The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign fights to improve the lives of the 70,000 babies, children and adults affected by muscle disease in the UK.
The offices have planned a number of activities throughout the year to support the charity. A team of employees are already in training to run the British 10k in July.
Paul Sumpter, Managing Partner at Haines Watts said: “For me, charitable giving is something that every person should engage with in some form or another. It is not enough to sit back and assume someone else or Government will make funds available for the myriad of needy causes that are out there.
I am very pleased to be able to associate Haines Watts in East Anglia with the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and am proud of our employees who have taken up the initial challenge of running the British 10k and of those who will participate in other events later in the year.’
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the leading UK charity focusing on muscular dystrophy and other related conditions. They are dedicated to beating muscular dystrophy and other related conditions by finding treatments and cures and to improving the lives of everyone affected by them.
